At St. Austell Upholstery we are able to offer our clients and customers a variety of quality services carried out by highly experienced professionals.

Stuart receiving the Challenge TrophyREUPHOLSTERY is carried out by Stuart Beaumont, who was trained in all aspects of traditional and modern upholstery at the Rural Development Commission (RDC) in Salisbury, Stuart receiving the Challenge TrophyWiltshire. He has worked at St. Austell Upholstery since 1983 and became owner of the business in 2001.

Over the last few years Stuart has also worked as a lecturer for the RDC, teaching City & Guilds Traditional Upholstery, and he currently teaches upholstery techniques for the Adult Learning Department of St. Austell College. Stuart currently holds the post of Assistant Secretary to the Guild of Traditional Upholsterers and has been privileged to be awarded the Guild's prestigious "Challenge Trophy" for excellence in upholstery, twice, once in 1997 and again in 2001 [the pictures show Stuart being presented with the trophy by B. E. Chapman MBE, The Master of the Worshipful Company of Upholders].

LOOSE COVERS and CURTAINS can be made to order from a vast range of traditional and modern fabrics. These are made by a local highly experienced machinist.

UPHOLSTERY SUPPLIES are available from our shop premises.

For all your upholstery needs our shop is open Monday to Friday 0900 to 1730 (closed for lunch from 1300 to 1415) and Saturday 0900 to 1300.
